Michael had a chance on Tuesday March 16th to sit down with Lígula. Lígula shared with us how the band originally formed, how its like playing at SXSW, what they think of Austin, and how it is to play every night with their best friends. Gear up for a great interview with some great guys that came all the way to Spain just to show SXSW what they can do!
TXBrewsandTunes Exclusive SXSW Interview: Lígula
Lígula has already played their SXSW shows for 2017! With all the crazyness that is SXSW we wanted to share our interview with Lígula after the madness. We went out to Big Picture Media day at San Jac Saloon just to meet Lígula. Check out our interview with one of our favorite new bands from SPAIN:
Lígula shared with us how their first trip as a band to Austin is going, what they think of SXSW, their funny sleeping arrangements, and where they get their musical influences from! What more could you want in an interview?!
If the interview was not enough. Here is a little more background on one of our favorite bands from Spain. Lígula band members include: Alejandro Elizalde, Ignacio Fernández, Borja Menéndez, Diego Ruiz, Saúl Omar, Joan Carranza, Carlos Valladolid y Guzmán Sánchez. The band members play a multitude of instruments and take their influences from bands like Radio Head, Wilco, and the Fleet Foxes.
Where can you catch Lígula? If you were not able to catch her during SXSW or happened to miss them. Follow their tour dates here to catch her in a city near you: https://www.facebook.com/ligulaband/
